When the cool weather hits, it’s time to break out the slow cooker to make a pot of comforting mulled apple cider. Brew a batch for home, or double it to keep everyone warm at weekend sporting events. The “twist” with this mulled apple cider recipe is the addition of five-spice powder, rather than classic pumpkin pie spices. It adds a little something special to an already great tasting combination.
