Disney Parks Has a New Line of Snacks Geared Towards Special Dietary Needs
In recent years Disney Parks has stepped up to the plate to make each and every guest comfortable at meal time with chefs preparing custom dishes and also by adding new kiosks and food items tailored to those with special dietary needs. Now they are introducing the new Snacks with Character branded line of treats to further focus on that commitment. The items will be marketed towards guests looking for dietary alternatives related to food allergies or lifestyle choices, such as gluten free. According to Disney, “Theme Park Merchandise teamed up with well-known specialty suppliers such as Ocean Spray, Enjoy Life Foods, Way Better Snacks and WOW Baking Company. Several of the dietary needs addressed in the new assortment products include gluten-free, nut-free, and other allergy-friendly products.”
The new Snacks with Character selections will launch with 11 new items and add more items from Ocean Spray later this year at Disney Parks and the Aulani Resort. I’ll be sure to sample a few on our upcoming trip!
