Avengers: Infinity War created a buzz I haven’t seen since childhood, when The Empire Strikes Back left everyone stunned and grasping for answers. Infinity War did leave us a little clue as to what comes next though. Near the end, Nick Fury sends off a quick message and we see the device as it falls to the ground. Who was he trying to contact? Unlike the pre-internet Star Wars trilogy days, we quickly had an answer: Captain Marvel.

Nick Fury Captain Marvel Message

Who ya gonna call?

The new Captain Marvel film sheds some light on the background of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the most powerful superheroes. All but long time comic book fans will have any idea of the complex history of Captain Marvel. This iteration takes us back the 1990s, when a pair of warring alien races are heading towards Earth and Carol is taken in by one of them. Captain Marvel debuts March 8th with the Infinity War sequel following shortly after on May 3rd, 2019. Enjoy the trailer below.
